A physical, cultural location where the fact that waste material is a resource, and where those who enter find material, but also suggestions, sensations, curiosities, fun, emotions, cooperation opportunities and unexpected encounters. Within the Emporium, there is an area dedicated to the Salvato da ReMida (Saved by ReMida) project.

This area offers different Educational Paths, transversal to more than one area of knowledge, and connected to the transformation of waste material, through experimentation of multiple languages of expression of the subject. In parallel the Orto&Giardino (Orchard&Garden) project had birth, directed to teachers and students, and focused on the outdoor education theme. The ReMida per Gioco (Play in ReMida) service is also active in the atelier, that includes extra-scholastic participation in workshops as well as the organization of alternative, sustainable birthday parties.

Within ReMida, exhibit areas are predisposed for artists, mechanical or internal designers, stylists, architects, illustrators, etc. that take advantage of waste material re-use. Their works or cultural projects may be exposed in our gallery.

ReMida organizes educational activities (‘Research Paths’, ‘Experience Tips’, courses and refresher courses, consultancy, and meetings) directed to social-educational workers, italian and foreign delegations or study groups, and teachers of all grades and levels. Theme-based workshops are carried out periodically in cooperation with artists, stylists, eco-designers and other professionals. Further educational and internship opportunities are addressed specifically to students of public and private Universities, that have special agreements with the Center.
